On behalf of a friend, I ask, “What jobs can someone do, outside the home, when she uses a wheelchair, has full but slow use of her hands, and can speak but not at length or to people who have difficulty understanding spoken language?” The candidate has a bachelor’s degree in neuroscience and master’s in English and is most interested in educating people and enhancing their health. She has transportation. My only suggestion is a teacher’s aide, but that is unlikely to be a paid position. What suggestions do you have for my friend? Thanks in advance.
